CEREC Galileos Integration
Level III
This class is intended to encourage general dentists who are interested in, or moderately experienced to begin placing guided implants.
Learn to utilize Sirona Cone Beam CT (Galileos or XG3D) and CEREC software 4.4 to digitally plan implants using the fundamentals of guided implant surgery. This 2 day hands on course will give you the knowledge to precisely place and restore implants with the most desirable clinical results, understand the fundamentals of guided implant surgery and the all aspects of guided-implant planning using the Galileos/XG3D and the CEREC. Learn the basic principles of implant placement and the advantages and disadvantages of the surgical systems compatible with the Integration protocol. Recognize the benefits and the criteria for placing implants with a fully guided flapless procedure. Students will be provided a hands on demonstration of planning a case from start to finish. Restoration driven implant placement “Crown Down Technique” will be thoroughly discussed and practiced. Learn to import optical scans (models) from CEREC into the Galileos software and virtually place implants in the ideal position. Participants will learn the different types of surgical guides available SICAT, CEREC 1, CEREC 2… and how to order or fabricate in the office. Provisional and final restorations utilizing CEREC and Ivoclar (e.max®, Telio®) CAD blocks will be provided. Meticulous treatment planning provides a strategy for the surgical phase thereby rendering the final restorative phase predictable and ideal. Day 2 will close with a live demonstration of the guided procedure treatment planned in class via video feed to the lecture room. This will be followed by Q & A session before conclusion of the course.
